Celebrating 30 Years of Girl Choristers at Wells

On 15th June 2024 we will be celebrating 30 Years of Girl Choristers in Wells Cathedral Choir and we are having a special celebration! We are extending a very warm invitation to all former choristers - girls and boys - join us for a reunion to help us mark this special anniversary. Former Choristers should book their place via this page.

There will be a special service of Choral Evensong at 5.15pm at which a Reunion Choir of former choristers will join the Cathedral Choir. The service will include the world premiere of a work by leading UK composer, Joanna Marsh, which has been specially commissioned for the occasion.

The evensong is unticketed and everyone is invited. However, if you would like to make a donation towards the work of The Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust then we can ensure you are seated in a reserved section in the front half of the Nave. The seats will be unnamed and reserved in a block, so we suggest you come in plenty of time to find a seat. Those who wish to come, but do not want to make a donation, are still very welcome. There will be general seating available at the rear of the Nave or in the side aisles.
