Friends Lunch
Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust is delighted to announce that we will be hosting a Friends Lunch to welcome the new Headmaster and celebrate reaching our wonderful milestone of 100 Friends.
Final details are currently being confirmed, and booking information will be emailed to all Friends very soon. We look forward to marking this special moment together and hope you will be able to join us.

WCCT Annual Evensong
Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust Annual Evensong, Wells Cathedral on Saturday, 3rd October 2026 at 5:15pm (please be seated by 5pm).
This is always a wonderful occasion at which we celebrate the work of the Trust and give thanks for all those who make its invaluable work possible. This year we will give special thanks to the Friends of Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust.
Be a Chorister for a Day
Sunday 4 October 2026
Each autumn, Wells Cathedral holds a fabulous free event called Be a Chorister for a Day, where children can experience what it is like to be a Cathedral Chorister. The event is open to all children aged between 6 and 9, there are fun singing workshops, and the day ends with them taking part in the Evensong service alongside the Cathedral Choir.
The experience includes singing games, learning about the Cathedral, and finding out what a Chorister really does. At the end of the afternoon the children sing Evensong with the Cathedral Choir. Parents can take a tour of the School if they wish, and enjoy Tea before the Evensong service.
