Tallis Voices Promenade concert

Friday 16th January 2026 7.00pm

We are delighted to welcome back the Tallis Voices for their annual Promenade Concert. This year the theme will be Psalms of Penitence and Praise. The music will be under the direction of David Allison.

Tickets are £15 per person and all funds raised will be in aid of Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust.

We’re delighted to offer a new way to share the experience. This year concert tickets are available to purchase as Christmas gifts. When you choose this option, we’ll send a Christmas card along with the ticket to your chosen recipient.

Ceremony of Carols

Saturday 7 February 2026 1.05pm

The annual performance of Benjamin Britten’s much-loved Ceremony of Carols, will bring the Christmas season to a beautiful conclusion and is always eagerly anticipated.

A Ceremony of Carols is beautifully written for both the upper voices and the harp, and Britten chooses poems which tell a story about the birth of Christ.

We are delighted the the Choristers will be joined, once again, by Mared Pugh-Evans, HM The King’s Harpist. The performance is directed by Timothy Parsons, Director of Music.

The performance is in support of the Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust and we encourage a donation of £10 per adult and £5 per child on booking.
